Jitka Bolchová

Jitka Bolchová, MUDr., DTMPH, graduated from the 2nd Faculty of medicine Charles University Prague in 2010. After the graduation she started to work as a attending physician at the Clinic of Infectious Parasitic and Tropical Diseases at the Bulovka University Hospital. She completed her training in Infectious diseases in 2017 and in Paediatrics in 2022.

She studied MSc. International Health at Charité University, Berlin, in 2012 and since then she has participated in several foreign medical missions with Czech and international NGOs. She also has worked repeatedly in refugee camps in Greece.

She is currently working as a attending physician at the Bulovka University Hospital on both Infectious disease clinic, where she runs consulting room for outpatient PID patients for last 2 years, and on a Pediatric department, where she is one of the leading physicians for inpatient patients.

In her outpatient ambulance she sees PID patients and she runs vaccination center for children, consulting vaccination schemes for risk children.
She is in a small team of doctors running Czech Center for Congenital infections, focusing on cCMV infection. Since September 2022 she is also a new Young ESPID member of the cCMVnet steering committee. She is responsible for putting czech patients into the cCMVnet RedCap database.

Together with this she works at the 3rd Faculty of Medicine Charles University Prague as a lecturer for medical students the subject Infectious diseases.
